Does Penicillin Cause Black Discoloration In Urine While On Magnesium?
hello I have anemia and take magnesium for migraines last week the dentist put me on penicillin for an abbess and my urine was almost black again today for the fourth time is does not stay black though so is this something to worry about or a side effect

You should definitely be evaluated for black urine, I cannot say for sure what is causing this, but it isn't normal and may indicate a kidney or blood problem that would need to be addressed.
Again, it is not a normal side effect of penicillin, and if you are still having it, should get your urine and blood checked.
