Does Overdose Of Advil Lead To Nausea, vomiting And Fatigue?

The other day I tried to overdose on advil and it didn t work, but now I am experiencing nausea, vomiting, fatigue, confusion, and sleepiness. Each advil pill was 200mg per capsule, and I took about 15-20 of them. I don t remeber the exact number. I am worried now why am I experiencing that, it s been about 2 days since then and I feel like it s getting worse. What is happening?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The use of the excess advil can cause irritation of the stomach with nausea and vomiting.
Typically would not cause fatigue or confusion though individual reactions to medications can vary.

The use of reflux medications should help to decrease the inflammation in the stomach.

You should also consider speaking to someone about the overdose and the reasons that you would have tried to do this.
A friend, pastor or counselor may be able to help you work through any issues that you may have.

I hope this helps
