Does Nerve Damage In The Lower Back Cause Numbness In The Legs?

Hi. I have had back surgery in 2008. L5-S1 fused together with Titanium. Have had problems last 2 years standing longer 10 minutes, or on my feet walking short distances. Had MRI in April 2017. Showed mild bilateral narrowing of the nerve canals. Area of surgery unable to verify nerve damage. Right calf front has large area below knee with no feeling of touch. Feels like large muscle nut is numb. Wake up with (charlie horse) in left leg about 1 every 2 weeks (happened 3 times now). No matter how much I try and stretch it. Can not get it to go away. Very painful walking. Could this be associated with nerve damage from low back.
