General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I went through your question. I understand your concern.

Allergic rhinitis is known to cause hyper trophy of structures inside the nose. May be your doctor is referring to this.

Hypertrophy is body's response to make your nose more efficient to get rid of the allergen.

The medication which you are taking is sufficient to control the allergic rhinitis. Most common cause of allergic rhinitis is either pollen or dust. Try to get rid of these.

If you keep the allergic rhinitis under control then there will not be any problem.

if you have any other queries, you can always contact me. I'll be happy to help you.

Regards,
Dr. Pratha Kumar
