Does Laparoscopy Cause Missed Periods?

Hi..I had laparoscopy on 16september..I got my periods back on 13 October and then on 7 November.but this month that is December I missed my periods.i had home pregnency test twice and it was negative.i am worried!! Is everything normal after surgery?? Please reply I am very upset. Thanku

Laparapscopy does not cause missed periods.
There may a simple explanation.
Stress, changes in you body and life can cause a delay in period.
sometimes, anovulatory( no egg released in that month) cycles can occur which can delay you period.
ovarian cysts can delay your period too.
all these are normal during the childbearing age .
Try to be calm. If it has been more than 45 days since your last period, I recommend a visit to your Obgyn who could tell you exactly what is going on and help you.
