Does Lack Of Heartbeat In Fetus Indicate Miscarriage?

Hi I started bleeding 5 days ago tiny clots not always and I went in today to early pregnancy unit for a scan they did a scan couldnt see much so then done a transvaginal scan they saw baby there but no heartbeat and as I'm bleeding they said I've miscarried they offering me options to get it removed but I think it's to early to hear a hearbeat and I'm not having cramps just period like bleeding shouldn't they had offered me another scan in two weeks to make sure that there is no heartbeat I don't believe what iv been told

You are not mentioned in which weeks of pregnancy you are in.


Fetal heart beat start between 6 to 7 weeks of pregnancy. If it no appears by that time we will wait for one more week .
