Does Intake Of Laxative During Pregnancy Harm The Baby?

Hi Dr Rynne, My boyfriend told me he was not ready to father a child after we had an unprotected sex. I wanted it and we had a little misunderstanding about the issue. Just to obey him, I took two sachets of Andrew s Liver Salt (a laxative) today being 5 days after. I regret my actions and I want to know if that would affect the baby that much because I had cramps afterwards.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, first think you need to do is to get it confirm whether this is the pregnancy or not now as long as the pregnancy is concern no medicine is safe, second if you mean to say about the conception and medicine that you have so this is nothing to take with each other, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
