Does Intake Of Warfarin At The Age Of 90 Cause Excessive Sleep?
My mother is 90 yrs old and has an aortics valve and is on warfrin. She is sleeping alot during the day now. It has been just within the last week or so. She has napped 4 times this morning and it is only 12:45 pm. She got a good nights sleep last night. Shirley

Nervous system side effects from warfarin are very rare, but yes it gives such effects as excessive sleep and weakness.
Also age plays a role, the elderly nappe very often.
