Does Intake Of Levothyroxin Cause Pain In Legs?

I ve been taking Levothyroxin and have developed pains in my legs, I told my Dr. if I might need to change medication, he said no....pharmacy stated they would give me Levothyroxin made by another company....tried that for 2monts, leg pain was so painful it became hard to walk...talked to my dr again, he stated He believe the pain was in my head...I couldn t believe it, however that is what he said..can Levothyroxin be the cause for my pain, or do you too state it is in my head.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such pain is not due to medicine (Levothyroxin) but the leg pain could be due to muscular spasm or may be due to claudication but not the drug and not need to change it and even if you would change it generic molecule will be the same, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
