Does Intake Of Duphaston Help In Inducing Early Menstruation?

Hello .. My period is not coming regularly since 2014 it always comes every 30 to 40 days and now the last period was on July 6th.. Im going to a vacation next week so i need my period to come before i leave so i can enjoy my vacation , the dr. Gave me duphaston 2 tablets a day for 4 days but im worried that it will make it delay more! What should i do? I tried everything like drinking ginger.. I feel some symptoms like my mood is swinging and i feel lazy and i feel that there s something but when i go to the toilet nothing Should i take the tablet? If i start taking it , is it possible for the period to come even im taking the tablets? Ps: im almost 23 years old and im not married

I really appreciate your concern, it is very uncertain for the menses when taken hormone medicine for no pathological or therapeutic reasons, menses would be irregular and uncertain, but it is nothing to worry, for long amenorrhea then better to get done the ultrasonography test hope this information helps.
