Does Inhalation Of Rubbing Alcohol During Pregnancy Harm The Baby?

I was cleaning the carpet yesterday with rubbing alcohol for about 20 minutes and then realised I was inhaling fumes. I am 33 weeks pregnant. I immediately stopped and went outside. I also had a shower and drank water. I felt ok but had a sore throat and dry eyes last night. Today I have a sore throat and feel a bit sick like I am getting a cold. Will this be ok and is it dangerous for my baby?

Hi, I don't think it is dangerous to your baby. But you should avoid it. Generally alcohol intake is dangerous for the fetus if taken regularly. Occasional alcohol intake is not found to be harmful specially in 2nd and 3rd trimester. The most vulnerable period is 1st trimester. So, inhaling fumes is not a harm. Hope I have answered your question.
