Does Hypothyroidism Cause Overheating In The Body?
I am constantly overheated. I keep the air at 70 and my husband is freezing. Even at that temp I cant seem to cool down. I feel sweaty and clammy. I have already gone through menopause over 15 years ago. thought it might be my blood sugars because I do have diabetes but they are at 113. Could this be from my thyroid? I have nodules it is calcified and have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and hashimotos.
Thyroid dysfunction could be the cause of the symptom that you have, so it is advisable to get a thyroid function test done. If the test is negative, then it can be some kind of non-specific feeling and not a disease condition.
Increase the water intake and reduce stress or anxiety along with thyroid test. Cardiac evaluation can be done just for safer side.
