Does Hormonal Replacement Therapy Cause Cancer?

I’m considering hormonal replacement therapy. It was prescribed to me today by my obgyn. Obviously for sever menapausal symptoms. My concern is cancer. So much I read and people tell he how bad it is and don’t do it because it can cause cancer. My doctor says very very unlikely. I was trying to find some reviews from women who have used the HRT. Is the threat of cancer likely?

Hello, my name is Dr Olgeta Xhufka. I understand your concern. It is true and studies show that hormone therapy slightly I creases the risk of breast cancer is similar to delayed menopause and it comes into effect after 5 years of HRT. Risk is increased with peolonged therapy.
