Does High Blood Pressure During Exercising Indicate Anything Serious?

After running I feel a very prominent pounding in my face and my heart was definitely beating harder than it should be, I m new to exercising and I ran for a good ten minutes then I did exercising routines to work out my legs, then some sit ups. I looked it up and it said it was high blood pressure but more so than should be just from exercising. Should I take it down a notch until my body gets used to it? Or should I stop doing anything strainious on my body until I can coverse wth my family doctor?

Hi
I had gone through your question and understand your concern.
See , the symptoms which you experiencing are absolutely for a beginner to experience. There is nothing to worry about.
Still i would advice you to go easy on yourself and increase the level of exercise slowly. So that your body get adapted to do strenuous exercise and you do not have to face such symptoms.
Thank you.
