Does Having Unprotected Sex While Having Ovarian Cyst Cause Pregnancy?
Hi Doc I have been detected with ovarian cyst & that Is why I am prescribed with contraceptive pills. My last period initiated on 31st march so eventually I started taking the 21 say course pills from 6th itself Today its 28th. My course got over yesterday. & I had unsafe sex today. But my partner doubts that he had ejaculated within me. What do I do now? How to be sure of it?
You are equally protected, against pregnancy during the No pill period also, if you have taken all your pills regularly before this. However, chances of being pregnant, even with proper use of birth control pills, may be there, as a minimal failure rate is there, even with its advised use. Therefore, though the chances of your being pregnant are minimal, still to be pretty sure, an HPT is advised to confirm / rule out a pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
