Does Fluocinonide Helps To Get Rid From Insects Bite?

I have a hard time getting healing and rid of the pain and Itchiness, etc. from spider and insect bites... I have Clobetasol Propionate .050 % and Fluocinonide .050 in my medicine cabinet, Would either of these 2 (two) creams be advantagous to me?

Hi!
Thanks for your concerns about your health;
and your faith in HealthcareMagic.

I am Dr. Neel Kudchadkar, and I will directly answer your question
by saying that I would not recommend either of the creams, both
Clobetasol Propionate or Fluocinonide. This is because Clobetasol can cause thinning of the skin, and cannot be used for more than 2 weeks. The insect bites most probably would continue beyond this time. The fact is that you cannot exceed 50 grams of Clobetasol cream in a single treatment. Insect bites itch, and when scratched (naturally), lead to broken parts of the skin. Fluocinonide cannot be used on "open" skin either.

I would highly recommend a cream called as "Betamethasone" that would instantly relieve your skin problems without any real issues. This is a very practical solution.

Please follow the suggestions above.
