Does excessive intake of folic acid supplements cause side effects during pregnancy?

Hi.. I am pregnant 34W. my doctor give me prescription for anemic condition and also folic acid separately. the iron supplement itself contains 1 mg folic acid, and I should take it 2 times a day. Meanwhile the separate folic acid supplement is 800mcg. I am afraid I take too much folic acid. is it dangerous for me and the baby? Thank you
