I am 81 years old. I had a hysterectomy complete when I was 48 years old and have been taking estrogen since then. Presently using Estrace Cream. Do you think I should stop taking all estrogens and go off all hormones? if so, what affects would I experience?

welcome to hcm ..estrogen withdrawal gives rise to various symptoms as general and vaginal ..vaginal symptoms as vaginal dryness or painful sexual intercourse ..general symptoms as deranged lipid profile and predispostion to cardiac disease ..but why do you want to stop the estrogen ..let it continue
