Does Epilepsy Medication Causes Headache And Dizziness?

I ve been suffering from headaches, dizziness and this sickly sweet smelling sweat? I m not exactly sure what it is - I m not diabetic (my mum has type 2 diabetes and my dad is borderline diabetic) andmy thyroid has been tested for issues before and it has come back as normal. I am however epileptic, is there any chance my epilepsy medication could be causing these symptoms? I know they can stop perspiration and cause dehydration but it says nothing about a sickly sweet smelling sweat (sometimes I also get a sweet metallic taste in my mouth). If it isn t to do with my medication what else do you think it could be? Yours, very concerned individual /

Epileptic medications should not cause Headache. in fact they reduce intensity and frequency of headache. However other symptoms like restlessness metallic taste can be due to these drugs. ....but don't worry...these are not serious and subside over time...
Headache in epilepsy patient may be due to migraine as there is association between these two condition.
I would suggest tab Valproate or Topiramate for u as these will help in both conditions.
