Does Delayed Ovulation Affect The Due Date Of Periods?
I’m currently ttc #2 and wanted to know if u ovulated later in your cycle does it have an affect on when your period will start? I have been using charting and opks. Clearblue advance that gives u the smiley and peak. I got my peak on the 11th and it said I should ovulate around then too according to the app. I have a 37 day cycle. I’m not quite sure when I ovulated this cycle or when to take a pregnancy test. My period is due today. No period signs but If I implanted later cause I ovulated later then the orginal ovulation date then my pregnancy won’t show now will it?
We can assume the ovulation date and clinically only confirmed by LH surge following which ovulation occurs. And ovulation can't delay or early it depends on hormonal changes and LH surge. In 28 days cycle, the ovulation occurs on day 14th because the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle is fix and 14 days so you can subtract 14 from your date and get ovulation date.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
