Does Cold Have An Effect On Blood Pressure?
My blood pressure is being monitored - test result 161/86 best advise ? pills could be a problem trying to monitor this presently as I have a medical condition which means not all medications can be given. Recently had a very bad cold - could this have an effect on blood pressure?

It's a high blood pressure.
Initially I would advice you to keep a record of your blood pressure. Take low salt in your diet. Medicine must be started depending upon your age. Since you haven't mentioned your age, I would advice you to go to a medical specialist with your blood pressure record of at least 1 week so that he can prescribe you an antihypertensive medication.
