Does Cold Cause Shortness Of Breath And Back Pain?

I caught my wife s chest cold 4 days ago. The first day was a runny nose, clear and watery. The next day was a mild fever. The third day the fever and runny nose were gone, but had a cough. The cough was mostly gone by the end of the third day, however, I developed shortness of breath and lower back pain. That has persisted to today, the 4th day. Shortness of breath only happens if I move, even rolling over in bed. It feels like the back pain is gas, but I m no expert. Are the shortness of breath and lower back pain likely the last symptoms of my cold?

Greetings!

With regards to the history it does look like you have a upper respiratory tract infection! shortness of breath and chest pain is due to the fact that there is congestion in you lungs! i would suggest you to take Bronco-dilators syrups which will relive your congestion! if the symptoms persist then a course of antibiotics will be helpful!
