Does Burning Sensation In The Toe After An Injury Need Medical Attention?

I broke a small bone away on my big toe about 4 weeks ago. It hasn t healed and now the whole top of my foot has a tingling sensation with pins and needles when I run y nail over the skin. If I point my toes there s also a sharp burn like pain around the top of my foot, not where the initial injury occurred, should I be concerned?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury to your big toe and you got fracture . Now you swelling and stiffness with tingling sensation with pin and needles over the skin . Its treatment is elevation of limb over pillow during rest and night, analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief, active toe movements and exercises and Mecobalamin for tingling and needles and pins. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
