I have a fib with a pacemaker under control and doing good. Back in september when checking my pacemaker the tech found i had a few unsustained ventricular tachy which lasted a about 10 second. I at the time had been eating a lot of Australian black licorce which i heard contains glycyrrhizin. In and FDA article i read this can cause heart issues which is abnormal heart rhythms. Could this possibly have caused that UVT in september? I was feeling bad at the time around and after that apptmt. However i stopped eating the licorce and since have felt fine. NO symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath etc. Just thinking this is maybe the cause at the time? I would like your opinion please. Thank you!
