Does Apple Cidar Vinegar Cause Sorenes In The Gums?
can apple cidar vinegar make your gums soar? i just started swishing it around in my mouth because i had a problem with my lower gum around a tooth that i thought might be infected. it was red and soar and it helped that alot. but after the third evening of doing that i woke up this morning and my whole upper gum was in great pain. can't hardly touch my upper lip. never had that happen ever in my life. i did not swish a big amount either. do you think it was from the acidity in the vinegar?
As per your query if you have a severely inflamed and swollen gum then it can be most probably due to infection and inflammation of the gums..
Gargling with apple cider vinegar can further irritate the mucosa leading to severe inflammation and burning.. I would suggest you to stop gargling w apple cider vinegar and you can start gargling with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.. You can suck ice pops to reduce inflammation and pain.. You can take anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen.. You should also consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be done.. In case of infection Scaling followed by antibiotics and painkillers and gum paint massage can help..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
