Does Appendix Removal Cause Acid Reflux?
I had my appendix removed on oct 13 which is about 4 weeks ago. I never used to get heart burn but now get it with whatever I eat. Is the heartburn and the appendectomy connected? Iv tried over the counter medicines for it but it doesn’t seem to help much. What can I do to keep this from continuing to happen?

Not really. But the change in teh abdomen from the surgery can lower gut motiilty also being on one's back can do that and increase reflux. The stress of surgery often causes frank ulcers.
So, consider ulcer medicine. Also reflux prevention (avoid large meals. avoid anything if one is going to be lying down, avoid spicy or carbonated or other foods that do not agree with you).
