Does Accidental Inhalation Of Insect Repellent Through Mouth Cause Sleepiness?

By accident I inhaled some insect repellent through my mouth. I inmidialtl wash my mouth and drank water. Later after an 15 I drank I protein drink, them after an hour or more I drank a glass of milk. So far the only symptoms is I been burping, and sleepiness. The sleepiness i am guessing that It has to do that I been up early, and after a two hour work out I am tired. I just want to make sure that my sleepiness has nothing to do with the I inhaling of the insert repellent through my mouth by accident.

Hi

Since the amount ingested is very little and you do not suffer from any symptoms,do not worry.But it is essential to visit a doctor and get clinically examined and a chest x ray to be taken to rule out aspiration pneumonitis.

Visit you dotor in cause of symptoms like cough,breathlessness or dizziness since emergency treatment may be required.
