General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Abdominal cramps are usual prior to periods not only during pregnancy. Hence, I highly recommend to wait until your due date. If no bleeding, take pregnancy test 10 days after your due date. Meanwhile, take ibuprofen for the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
