Does A Small Movable Lump Above Knee Need Medical Attention?

Hi. I noticed a small, movable lump just above my right knee, about a week ago; It feels like a lymph node. I do lift weights, so maybe that just caused some inflammation, but the pain is gone, and I'm just wondering if it sounds like something which I need to be worried about.

Week old small movable lump above right knee,which is hard like lymph node and whose pain reduced over a time,is definitely a cause for worry.
You should check with Ortho-Surgeon and rule out knee arthritis-if its the cause and treat it accordingly as advised from ortho-surgeon.
I would advise you to consult ER Surgeon for opinion on knee lump.
Don't worry and things will be right after this check up.
