Does A Pinched Nerve Cause Numbness On The Toe?

My big toe and second toe are numb on top and the area surrounding each is numb as well. Whenever I stand up suddenly or flex my foot quickly, I get these cold shooting pains in the top of my foot into those two toes. Could this just be a pinched nerve or something else? If so, what can I do to fix a pinched nerve?

Hi,

Neuropathic causes like nerve impingement can cause similar symptoms. However have to rule out conditions like gout which is a more likely differential. Consult an orthopaedician and get evaluate.

As of now you can take analgesics like acetaminophen or tramadol for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
