Hi,

Zeasorb powder itself is not supposed to be carcinogenic. One time it was banned in state of California, as it contained acrylamide, which was thought to be carcinogenic. However, its present formulation does not contain acrylamide.

Also, talc which is a usual constituent of any powder including Zeasorb, is thought to be safe unless it is mixed with traces of asbestos. Long term exposure to asbestos (Not just casual exposures) may be carcinogenic to lungs, but there is no evidence of association of asbestos and breast cancer.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
