Does Xarelto Cause Blood In Urine?

I believe I have a UTI, tiredness, frequent urination, back pain, trace blood in urine. I was on a 7 day course of macrobid two weeks ago and thought to was gone, then symptoms reappeared. I am also on xarelto so I am not sure if blood in urine is related to blood thinner? YYYY@YYYY then you

Yes, Xarelto can cause blood in the urine. Anti-clotting medications ('blood thinners') like Xarelto prolong the time it takes to form a blood clot hence blood can appear in the urine. This problem can be minimized by reducing the dose of Xarelto or temporarily stopping the medication. However, it can also be due to some other underlying issue, such as kidney stones, infection, or bladder cancer. So, I advise you to consult your treating doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
