Does Vitamin D Deficiency Cause Muscle Spasms?

I have muscle spasms in my trapazoid muscle. My mother and aunt said it was because of a lack of vitamin D. So, I purchased vitamin D3. Although the spasms has slowed down, it still gives me the blues when it decides to attack! Seems it s not going away forever. Do you agree about the vitamin D, and will it ever go away?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Muscle spasms can be caused by electrolyte imbalance or vitamin D or vitamin b12 deficiency. Vitamin D, b12 and electrolytes levels in blood should be measured. If any of it is low then taking supplements of those will be helpful to clear your condition. If vitamin D is low then taking milk products and getting exposure to sunlight is helpful also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
