Does Veltam Cause Drowsiness?
My husband hav grade i hydroureteronephrosis in his right kidney.reason is not clear to dr.he has prescribed my husband following;1/2 lasix.40 after breakfast,voxate twice a day after meal,veltam 0.4 after dinner and drotin ds twice a day after meal for 14 days.Now I am worried that he is sleeping more time in a day.after taking veltam he is falling sleep.I cant understand are this tablet helpful to him.pls pls help.

Veltam can cause drowsiness in rare case.
But it is useful in hydroureteronephrosis as it improve the flow of urine.
Just cut down the dose after consult with your physician, if it is sever.
