Does Thyroxine Cause Blood In Stool Of An Infant?
Hi doctor, my 3 months baby started thyroxine a month ago. Her tsh was 10 and after 2 weeks 25 microgram medication dropped to 0.27.......dr said make it half of that dosage. Its now a week with new dosage. However, she is ha ving blood in her stool since 2 weeks ago it happened 4-5 times. I need help and your idea please

I really appreciate your concern, neither the medicine not the medical condition of thyroid dysfunction could cause such blood stained stool, and if it is so then it need to be investigated but it is nothing to take with thyroid medicine and thyroid disease, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
