Hi there!
I see an MD who mainly offers services in the area of weight loss, anti aging, hormone therapy, etc. Although he sees patients as a primary care doctor, I have concerns with the lackadaisical decision making for those seeking to lose weight. I have been a patient of his, although I often see his NP, for a few years, off and on. He prescribes phentermine for weight loss. I take the Rx as directed, but I am looking for an opinion of this Rx from a licensed professional who does not have a vested interest in the promotion of this product and of his weight loss services.

Can you please give me your opinion regarding the health risks v benefits, recommended/ safe dosage and duration of program. Your opinion will be greatly appreciated.
