I am taking care of my 74 year old mother who is pretty much home bound right now, losing weight so she can have a hip replacement completed. I have finally gotten her to consent to keeping medication boxes because of all of the meds she takes. My main question before I use my approved HIPPA rights to contact her doctor directly is how much Tylenol, Aleeve and Motrin is too much for an adult to take in one day? She has also been prescribed Oxycodone, Tramadol and Methocarbamol but I know she isn t taking these as directed by her doctor nor has she let her doctor know how much of the OTCs she is taking per day.
