Does Oxaliplatin Cause Neuropathy?

My brother now 50 years old had colon cancer and was treated with oxaliplatin 7 years ago. He is now in full remission but strated having tingling sensation in his feet, his left hand and his penis a few months ago. He still has bad fatigue although he went back to work full time. A few weeks ago he stated having l hermitte s sign. The question is now: can Oxaliplatin he had over 12 cycles be the cause of this neuropathy? is MS considered a possibility since our mother had it diagnosed at age 47 and died from its complications at age 80 ? i do want some answers and suggestions as this brother is very dear to me.Any help will be appreciated.
