Does Odimont LC For Ear Blockage Have Any Side Effects?

Hello, I have been prescribed Odimont lc as I had ear blockage some time ago. I was told that my eustachian tube has become narrow for which I was prescribed the medicine for 3 months. Will this have any side effect? I feel very drowsy in the mornings. Is it because of the medicine?

Hello

thank you for posting at HCM

The drug contains Levocet, and feeling drowsy is one of the systemic side effects of having the drug. Looks like you have severe infection , which is causing excessive absorption of the drug, as the local application should not cause systemic side effects.

In our OPD practice we prescribe Tab Allegra 0-0-1 x 5 days, along with the drug you are already taking.

if you work, it's better to avoid morning dose, or be at home under supervision for 2 hrs after taking the drug.

wish you well
Thanks
