I guess only Mr. Freeman could say for sure. My daughter met him once. She took care of his mother for a bit before she passed. She said he was extremely nice (as was his mother). He was with another woman at the time of the accident... perhaps that has something to do with the break-up? I'm sure we'll hear why sooner or later. "Be sure your sins will find you out..."
