Does Lipitor Affect The Liver Functioning?

I have been on 10mg. lipitor for 6 weeks and my blood test indicates that my bilirubin has gone up since I started the statin and is now .1 above high normal. Before statins my bilirubin was right in the middle of normal. Is this a signal that lipitor is affecting my liver function?
