Does Lexapro 5 Mg Have Any Side Effects?
My 16 year old just began taking Lexapro 5mg 4 days ago. She now has blood in her urine, but no other symptoms such as burning, urgency, or frequency. I can t find this as a listed side effect of Lexapro, but I m just not sure if it is a UTI or possibly the Lexapro. With the holiday weekend we can t see a doctor until Tuesday. Just don t want to make an unneeded trip to the ER.

It is very uncommon to have cystitis after taking Lexapro. Yes, one can have such sort of complaints with this medicine. I suggest you to visit your doctor for his routine urine examination to rule out any possible infection and other bladder pathologies as well.
