The colonoscopy revealed irritation so the Dr. took biopsies and is leaning toward Crohns Diagnosis. Went ahead and did the pill cam on Monday and today has not been a good gut day so Dr. has called in Levisin for me to pick up this afternoon. Hello,

IC treatment protocols may also include lots of other medicines such as alpha-blockers (Flomax), amphetamines, anti-seizure meds (Neurontin), histamine blockers (Tagamet, Zantac, Pepcid), leukotriene inhibitors, prostaglandins (NSAIDS, ibuprofen), urinary antacids (potassium or sodium citrate, tricitrates).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
