Does Levonelle Help To Avoid Pregnancy After Unprotected Intercourse?
I had unprotected sex with my partner, (last night) he didn t ejaculate inside me but I m worried that any sperm left on his penis rentered me.. Then this morning I took levonelle within the 72 hours as recommended so I m hoping that this will reduce the risk of pregnancy.. Also how long do the symptoms of taking this last? I haven t really experienced any side effects yet apart from feeling light headed and feeling a bit sick sometimes. Please help I am panicking about whether my next period will happen or not!!
I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
If you took the morning-after pill within 72 hours of intercourse, it is less likely for you to get pregnant. Usually you should have your menses on the expected dates with plus / minus 6 days.
If don't have your period by this time i advice you to take urine pregnancy test and i also suggest you to use morning sample of urine as it is more sensitive.
Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.
Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
