Does Hyperkinetic A Cause Cramps?

I have started taking hyperkinetic A and now have cramping. Would heperzine a might be the cause? Had the cramps, went off it. The cramps went away with Medicean from my doct. Went back on it and am experiencing the cramps again. My question is if it is the huperzine would the cramping go away in a few dats by itself if I stoped taking it. YYYY@YYYY

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

As per studies shown here, Hyperkinetic A is safe but in few patients it may cause some side effects including nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, sweating, blurred vision, slurred speech, restlessness, loss of appetite, contraction and twitching of muscle fibers, cramping, increased saliva and urine, inability to control urination, high blood pressure, and slowed heart rate.

If you have more cramps, please quit the drug and consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
