Does Hyaluronic Acid Cause Migraine?

Hello,, I have had migraine headaches since I was 17. I am now 63. I found relief two years ago when I started taking 700 mg of magnesium, 400-600 mg of B2, CQ10 daily. I recently purchased Purity Products Hyaluronic acid supplements for arthritis pain. Does Hyaluronic acid cause migraine? thanks. Susan.

Hi,

There is currently no scientific evidence to suggest that hyaluronic acid causes migraines. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body, and it is commonly used in skincare products and supplements for joint health. While it is always possible for an individual to have an adverse reaction to a supplement, there is no known connection between hyaluronic acid and migraines. However, it is important to talk to your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen, especially if you have a history of migraines or other medical conditions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Hi,

There is currently no evidence to suggest that hyaluronic acid causes migraine headaches. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that is found in the body and is commonly used in skincare and joint health supplements. While some people may experience side effects from hyaluronic acid supplements, such as nausea or stomach upset, there is no known association between hyaluronic acid and migraine headaches.

It is important to note, however, that everyone's migraine triggers can be different, and some people may experience migraines in response to certain supplements or medications. If you are concerned that the hyaluronic acid supplement may be triggering your migraines, it is recommended that you speak with a healthcare provider to discuss your symptoms and determine the best course of action. They may recommend adjusting your supplement regimen or conducting further tests to identify any potential triggers for your migraines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
