Does Folbee Cause Inflammation Of Lymph Node?

Can the medication called Folbee 2.5-25-1mg cause inflammation of lymph glands where I have had a mastectomy and the lymph nodes were removed with the breast tissue. I swelled up in my arm pit and it burned very much . I ve stopped taking it until I know if that was what caused the problem. I ve been taking ibuprofen for three days and the swelling is going down somewhat. This is the only new medication and the problem occurred three days after starting the prescription. Thanks for your help. Marlys Loe

Hello,

So the Foblee tablet does not cause any inflammation of lymph nodes. Armpit swelling is due to lymphedema which must have been infected. You will require a short course of antibiotics to settle it down.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
