Does Flucloxacilin Sodium CA 500mg Cause Blood To Come Out Of Nose?
Hi I am taking Flucloxacilin Sodium CA 500mg been on it for one day so far to prevent Cellulitis from growing, I have no abrasions, sores, cuts of any kind or any wound entry on my leg. I do have Polycythemia Rubra Vera have had it for 7 years and my iron count is 17. Since taking these tablets I am noticing that my nose in both nostrils are flaky with blood and when I blow my nose its blood that comes out is this normal with this medicine because I don t recall having this the last time I took them.
I am so sorry to hear about this nosebleed that you had. This drug does not cause nosebleed. Most nosebleed are incidental occurrences. My recommendation is that you should not bother about right now unless it happens again. If it does, please seek medical consultation for evaluation and management.
I hope this helps. I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
