Does Calvepen Intake Cause Any Complications During Pregnancy?
Hi. I am 12 weeks pregnant and since last year in november I am keep taking antibiotics due a recurenced streptococ infection of my tonsils. This happened almost every month since then....sometimes even twice per month. I took mostly penicilin (calvepen) How dancerouse is this for my baby?

It is safe to be taken during pregnancy. The antibiotic Calvepen (Phenoxymethylpenicillin) is an oral Penicillin which is commonly used to treat susceptible bacterial infections like respiratory or urinary tract infections. It is not known to cause any harmful effects on growing unborn baby hence can be taken safely during pregnancy.
