Hello,

You shold know that treatment of UTI in pregnant patients is important because of the increased risk of associated sequelae.

Expected care may involve the following:

Administration of appropriate antibiotics.
Administration of fluid if the patient is dehydrated.
Admission if any indication of complicated UTI exists.

So you should take medicines according to advice of your doctor.

Here are some things that you should follow:

Wash hands before using the toilet.
Use washcloths to clean the perineum.
Use liquid soap to prevent colonization from bar soap.
Clean the urethral meatus first when bathing.

Stay healthy. Take care.
